Just got done doing Pilates...which I truly enjoy! Like I was telling my sister I like how Pilates sculpts my muscles like a ballerina, without bulking me up like a body builder. (: And it really strengthens the core muscles (stomach) and back too. I also like how it is low impact, so it doesn't hurt my joints, and the exercises can be modified to work you harder as you progress. My Pilates instructor is starting to incorporate more advanced moves and modifications...so I continually feel like I am advancing instead of becoming stagnant. I really do enjoy Pilates! It works!!
So, are there any other fellow Pilates fans? If not, what is your exercise of choice? I personally think the best exercise is to have an active life in general...it's when we become dormant and our lives slow down and we aren't being active, that's when the health problems start to sneak up on us...
Okay, that's it for today...have class tonight, so I have to run soon...
